speed boatThe Management Team is a core group of twelve partners who are committed to the success of the Colorado Water 2012 effort.

The Management Team is guided by a Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer who are responsible for:CO Water 2012 - dark blue-01small

  • Acting as ambassadors for the initiative
  • Trouble shooting and removing obstacles
  • Approving long-range strategic, communications and fundraising plans
  • Setting a budget and reviewing finances
  • Ensuring grant deliverables are achieved
  • Overseeing hired assistance
  • Being accountable for success of the initiative

All members will serve throughout the 2012 process. Substantive decisions that considerably affect the initiative are brought to the Management Team by Committee Chairs, or other members of the Management Team. Decisions are made by consensus, requiring 90 percent of the members to reach agreement. Participation on the Management Team was offered to all partners during the initial planning phases of Colorado Water 2012. Members were selected based on interest and level of commitment with consideration to geographic diversity. Should positions on the Management Team become available, people who are interested can nominate themselves.
