The Northern SLV Conservation Roundtable in collaboration with the Kerber Creek Restoration Project is holding a FREE tour of the Project on Sat., June 30, 1:00 to 4:30 PM. The Project is an award winning collaboration of 16 federal, state, and local agencies, non-profit groups and more than 20 local landowners dedicated to the restoration of the Kerber Creek watershed from historic mining impacts. From 2007 to the present, the Bonanza Stakeholders Group has raised over $1.5 million towards restoration efforts and contributed over 13,000 volunteer hours on the Restoration Project. These efforts have enabled the restoration of over 50 acres of degraded lands and 6 miles of stream improvements. Meet at Bonanza Rd. (CR LL56) & Hwy. 285 at 1 PM to arrange carpooling.
