Meet at the Wildwood Put-In, east of Aspen

Cost: FREE with underwriting from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails

Bring your canoe, kayak, or ducky and get ready to float the gentle Roaring Fork River through some of the most important wildlife habitat in the upper Roaring Fork Valley. Staff from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails and Roaring Fork Conservancy will give the history of Northstar Open Space, point out wildlife, and discuss recent restoration activities along this mild two-hour float. Float is dependent on river flows and may be cancelled due to extremely high or low flows. 

Please bring your own boat and PFD. If needed, arrangements can be made to provide a boat for participants.
