The Art Institute of Colorado was essential in creating a signature look for Colorado Water 2012. Students took on the design work as a class project and created the dozens of icons, designed the poster for the traveling displays, and designed the website artwork. Colorado Water 2012 certainly would not look as nice without their creative help. Thank you to those who helped make this project look so good!

Design Team: Erika Arment, Jennifer Castanon, Miranda Nordeen

The purpose of the Libraries and Museums Committee is to encourage libraries and museums across the state to utilize the traveling Colorado Water 2012 displays. The Committee also edited the poster, chose the displays, and has successfully scheduled the displays to rotate to more than 50 libraries and museums across the state of Colorado.

In addition to the traveling displays the Committee created multiple reading lists for youths adults and teachers. Click here to view the Water 2012 Reading Lists. The Committee was also responsible for creating a brief history timeline of Colorado's water. Colorado's Water History

Liquid Assets Poster - “Liquid Assets … looks at supplying metropolitan areas with clean healthy water.  This film looks at the 100 year old aging, neglected and complex infrastructure that delivers water to American Communities.  The film is orchestrated to  facilitate local discussions about the urgent challenges facing our national water infrastructure.” Liquid Assets Website

Running Dry Poster - "An intelligent and provocative piece that educates the public about conservation, water reuse, desalination and how population growth will affect future water legislation." Running Dry Website
