In partnership with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Colorado Water 2012 is offering interested communities and organizations the opportunity to explore the planetary processes that affect water supplied around the world and in the American West.
Typically planetariums are used to study space, but their capabilities are also ideal for a discussion about earth systems and environmental science. This program, developed with the Worldviews Network, is designed to start a conversation about water with scientists and other experts. In the GeoDome, DMNS will explain the planetary processes that affect water supplies around the world and in the American West.

The GeoDome stands 13ft tall with a diameter of 25ft. It must be used indoors, have a power supply, internet connection, and air conditioning is preferred.
The GeoDome is intended for adult education events with a professional development focus. Unfortunately it is not an appropriate resource for youth events.
